Redakcja czasopisma „Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis" zaprasza do przesyłania artykułów naukowych.

Kwartalnik afiliowany jest przy Instytucie Nauk Politycznych Uniwersytetu Śląskiego. Preferujemy problematykę polityk publicznych (Evidence Based Policy). Interesują nas formy i mechanizmy systemowego rozwiązywania kluczowych problemów społecznych przez państwo w porozumieniu z reprezentantami różnych grup interesów, szczególnie na poziomie lokalnym i regionalnym. W pierwszym i drugim kwartale roku ukazują się tomy w języku polskim, a w trzecim i czwartym w pozostałych językach.

Czasopismo jest indeksowane w: Arianta, BazHum, CEEOL, CEJSH, ERIH Plus, IC Journals Master List, PBN, Polindex.

Redakcja czasopisma "Mediatization Studies" zaprasza do współpracy przy tematycznym tomie (2/2018), którego tematem będą kwestie nadzoru, prywatności i polityzacji cyfrowych mediów. Tom zatytułowany będzie "Surveillance, Encryption, and Privacy" i gromadzić będzie teksty europejskich badaczy ze zróżnicowanych punktów widzenia (nauki o mediach, nauki o polityce i inne) dotyczące tej problematyki. Termin nadsyłania propozycji tekstów: 15 stycznia 2018.

Publikacja jest połączona z międzynarodowymi warsztatami dotyczącymi tej problematyki, które odbędą się w Lublinie w marcu przyszłego roku i jest zaplanowana jako część projektu badawczego, realizowanego przez Wydział Politologii UMCS i Wydział Dziennikarstwa Uniwersytetu w Moguncji w Niemczech, finansowanego ze środków Polsko-Niemieckiej Fundacji na rzecz Nauki.

We invite proposals for the special issue of the “Mediatization Studies” journal (vol. 2/2018) referring to “Surveillance, encryption and privacy in the digital age”. The focus is on submissions considering the inter-connected issues of surveillance, encryption, privacy, data protection as well as digital technology design, definition, development and regulation. Deadline for extended abstract submissions: January 15th 2018.

This special issue of “Mediatization Studies” (published by Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin) is linked to a workshop with politicians and NGO representatives from Poland and Germany that engage in issues related to surveillance, privacy and encryption. Interested authors of accepted abstracts, especially young researchers, will be invited to participate in a two-day session to present and discuss their work.

The workshop will take place in March 2018 in Lublin (Poland). Following the workshop, full papers will be submitted and peer-reviewed. Guest editors: Dr. Jakub Nowak (University Marie-Curie Skłodowska Lublin), Dr. Johanna E. Möller (Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz)

Call for Papers

The Polish Political Science Yearbook invites all scholars, researchers, experts and professionals to submit papers, research reports, letters and research opinions, conference reports, review essays and book reviews to the Volume 46 of 2017. For the very first time, the PPSY plans to publish two issues: the first one in May–June 2017, while the second one in November–December 2017.
